Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Corgi Trail

A public art commission for the Queen’s platinum jubilee celebrations. 19 corgis were displayed in London as part of a trail.

I painted my corgi, ‘Monty’ with 70 flags, 1 for each year of the Queen’s reign. Each illustrated with imagery pertaining to the Queen.

Monty was displayed in the Strand Palace Hotel and later went on to be auctioned for £2800. The proceeds went to Only a Pavement Away, a charity organisation who help anyone facing homelessness find a new career in hospitality.
